Position: Architectural Sales Representative
Location: Washington D.C.
Overview: Kappa Search, Inc. is a leading technical recruiting firm based in Chicago that specializes in the placement of candidates into permanent careers. We are currently looking to fill an Architectural Sales Representative position for our manufacturing client located in the Washington D.C. area. The Architectural Sales Representative will create and maintain relationships with through exceptional customer service. They will sell company products by establishing requirements from architects and other clients while representing the company as a leader in its field.
- Reaching annual sale goals in regards to amount sold and average price
- Endorsing products by providing promotional documents, gauging client specifications, etc.
- Collaborating with the sales manager and the sales department and maintaining a project database
- Representing the company at local exhibitions
- Visiting the company’s international factories as needed
- Communicating with customers in regards to questions and requests
- Utilizing free samples and promotional documents to solicit new customers and orders
- Experience with building industry sales
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Punctuality and dependability
- Strong sales skills
- Willing to travel as needed
