Kappa Search Inc. is a Chicago recruitment firm that specializes in engineering, manufacturing, technology and operations recruitment and placement. We are currently recruiting for an electrical R&D engineer for an automotive products manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Establish new product development schedules
Work with customers to develop and modify software
Attend regular customer meetings and event support
Review and present Japan made test results and reports to customer
Technical support of VA/VE Activities
Supplier evaluation
Review equipment specs, vendor negotiations & CEA Preparation
Debug and correlate equipment with international branches
Coordinate proto/trial part spec and delivery between supplier and customer
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
High electrical and mechanical aptitude
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with high level of accuracy
Team leadership skills
Proven project management skills
Basic automotive control systems knowledge
Intermediate level Microsoft Office Skills
Preferred Skills:
Bachlelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Familiar with embedded C Language, Model Based Development, Mathlab Software
Expertise with blueprints/drawings and specifications
Experience with 3D CAD: CATIA v5, Pro/E, SolidWorks etc.
