Kappa Search Inc. is a Chicago technology recruiter that specializes in engineering, management and technical sales recruitment and placement. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to sell software products to clients in the Great Lakes region. Responsibilities and requirements are outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Contacting & qualifying prospective customers
• Maintaining an aggressive outbound calling program, while documenting all activity in our CRM tool
• Managing a sales pipeline and closing business based on individual and team goals
• Participating in special projects as necessary
• Mining additional prospective customers
• Working with Software Partners to develop and close new sales opportunities
• Maintaining & supporting an existing customer base

Requirements:

• 5 + years experience in outbound sales for an organization providing software, preferably Quality Assurance software products, and/or related technology with an ability to learn quickly and deliver results
• Successful consistent record of meeting and exceeding corporate sales goals
• Experience selling to upper level management
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• A passion for excellence and efficiency with a proven ability to prioritize and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Energetic articulate telephone presence with a proven ability to support customers
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, SalesForce.com, Email, and the Internet
• The initiative to identify challenges related to existing policies and procedures and provide concrete, positive solutions
