Kappa Search Inc. is a Chicago recruiting firm that specializes in engineering, manufacturing, operations and technical sales recruitment and placement. One of our clients, a major international machine tool builder, seeks a Field Service Manager with CNC industry expertise.
The successful candidate will lead the field service technician team and build a telephone service support group for machine tools.
The successful candidate will have:
- Several years experience in a managerial role with machine tool field service engineers.
- BA/BS in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience
- Background in servicing mechanical/electrical CNC controlled machine tools
- Provided phone support to service departments and customers and have a background in directing and coaching field service technicians and support services.
- Excellent technical, communication and presentations skills along with demonstrated analytical and problem solving abilities are a must.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products preferred.
