Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Chicago, IL
Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 / year

• Compiles standard and periodic journal entries including accruals and amortization’s to complete the appropriate end of period schedules.

• Journal entries will be entered into the Company ERP system, and reconciles all general ledger accounts.

• Coordinates and assists in the preparation of the quarterly and annual audits working with internal and external auditors.

• Prepares budget and financial forecasts, while instituting other planning and control procedures, including the cost accounting system by analyzing variances with management.

• Manages fixed assets in order to report and calculate depreciation for book and tax purposes.

 Requirements

• BA in Accounting.

•  3 years experience in an accounting department with general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and cost accounting.

• Microsoft Office/Excel.
