Chicago recruitment company seeks a VP of Sales with B2B expertise

Kappa Search Inc. is a technical recruiting firm that specializes in engineering, technology, operations and technical sales & marketing recruitment and placement. We are currently recruiting for a VP of sales for a startup technology company as follows: The VP of sales is responsible for developing a strategy for revenue, growth, profit, and/or a market share goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Create plans and strategies for developing business
  • Generate a culture of success and ongoing business
  • Manage the sales teams, operations and resources for the team
  • Hire, train, and coach the sales team
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing business
  • Develop an infrastructure and system to support the success of the sales team
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

 Job Requirements 

  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience within the Tech-Marketing industry.
  • Bachelors degree
  • 7+ years of experience managing a B2B SaaS sales team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Start up experience a plus
