Chicago technical sales recruiting firm seeks a Sales Director

Kappa Search Inc. is the city of Chicago’s leading technical recruiting firm that specializes in the permanent placement of sales roles. Currently, we are seeking a Sales Director for our client. We are specifically looking for someone who is an aggressive self-starter for growing and enhancing sales goals and business. This person will need to be comfortable leading various sales activities in a global market place. In addition, he/she should be able to take the initiative in identifying improvement of resultant sales in the short and long term.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and deliver sales strategies
  • Ensure effective control of sales results and profitable growth
  • Cultivate relationships with key sales decision makers
  • Identify sales opportunities by working closely with distributors


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-10 years of experience with industrial products sales management
  • Identifiable history of profitable sales growth in past roles
  • Direct experience with all aspects of the industrial sales channel
  • Initiate and develop strategic sales plans


  • Master’s Degree
  • International sales experience
