Chicago technical sales recruitment agency seeks a Segment Sales Manager

Kappa Search, Inc. is the city of Chicago’s leading technical recruiting firm that specializes in the permanent placement of sales roles. Currently, we are seeking a Segment Sales Manager for our client located in the Denver, CO area. We are specifically looking for someone who can effectively direct and manage all business and sales development operations.  The appropriate fit could be someone experienced with selling into the food service, grocery or restaurant markets. This person will need to take an active role in determining market competition, customer feedback, and internal sales goals as a means for growth and profitability. He/She should be comfortable directing all sales activities with both end users as well as outside sales rep groups.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Initiate the development and execution of overall sales strategies
  • Consistently maintain customer relationships & develop new customer base
  • Oversee the independent sales teams and rep groups to achieve sales goals
  • Determine new product development opportunities
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to the team


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience selling into the grocery, restaurant or food service industries
  • Experience selling personal protective products is preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
