Technical recruiting agency seeks (2) Account Development Sales Representatives

Kappa Search Inc. is the city of Chicago’s leading technical recruiting firm that specializes in the permanent placement of sales roles. Currently, we are seeking two Account Development Sales Representatives. We are specifically looking for someone who is actively determined in both developing and maintaining relationships with customers to support business initiatives. This person will need to consistently provide excellent customer service for the selling and profitability of various company products. At the same time, he/she will need to have exceptional technical expertise to support customer expectations and uphold the integrity of the entire team.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Source and prospect potential new customers, while maintaining current customers
  • As needed, provide various levels of technical assistance
  • Smoothly and profitably close new business with customers
  • Create quality cost estimates and proposals for various HVAC projects
  • Comprehend and analyze contract documents, plans, and supplemental information
  • Actively communicate shipping-related information to team/customer


  • Associate’s Degree in engineering, technology, construction management/technology, or business (equivalent of more than 5 years of field and education experience will be considered)
  • At least 3 years of HVAC experience in sales and/or technical support
  • Excellent interpersonal and selling skills with a firm dedication to service
  • Comfortable working with various software programs
  • Hybrid inside/outside sales position: estimation of 2-3 days in the office & 2-3 days in the field/per week


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Outside sales experience
