Chicago sales recruiting agency seeks an Inside Sales Representative

Kappa Search, Inc. is the city of Chicago’s leading technical recruiting firm that specializes in the permanent placement of sales roles. Currently, we are seeking an Inside Sales Representative. We are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable with selling various company products and promotions via phone and someone who has exceptional communication skills. This person will need to be able to interact with businesses and specific individuals as a means to develop and maintain relationships to help generate new business. He/She will need to be goal-oriented and be comfortable working closely with a team to achieve both individual and collective goals.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform outbound calls to stagnant accounts and/or potential prospects and follow up on any leads
  • Effectively discusses and sells company products and services via phone
  • Create and maintain weekly sales goal plan(s)
  • Quickly become comfortable with company software to optimize most effective communication practices with customers
  • Accurately provide quotes and bids with particular accounts through retaining current knowledge of specific promotions


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in inside sales (consultative selling relationship with customers)
  • Effectively works with a team to encourage micro and macro level completion of goals
  • Keen sense of motivation and ambition in setting and reaching individual and collective work activities
  • Approaches immediate team & customers professionally by reacting well under pressure
  • Takes accountability and follows through on established goals and commitments
  • Excellent written and oral communication and comprehension skills
  • Ability to comprehend and calculate various mathematical figures
  • Proficient computer skills and general reasoning abilities, especially when problems arise
