Technical sales recruiting firm seeks a Vice President of Sales

Kappa Search, Inc. is the city of Chicago’s leading technical recruiting firm that specializes in the permanent placement of sales roles. Currently, we are seeking a Vice President of Sales for our client located in the Denver, CO area. We are specifically looking for someone who can effectively direct and manage all business and sales development operations. This person will need to take an active role in determining market competition, customer feedback, and internal sales goals as a means for growth and profitability. He/She should be comfortable directly managing a sales team while also providing distribution strategies to streamline sales processes.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Initiate the development and execution of overall sales strategies
  • Consistently maintain customer relationships & develop new customer base
  • Oversee the independent sales teams directly to achieve sales goals
  • Hire sales team(s), as needed
  • Determines new product development opportunities
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to team 


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-10 years of managerial experience in sales
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills


  • Master’s Degree (in related field)
