Technical Sales Recruiting Firm Seeks Sales Engineers for Several Territories

Kappa Search is a Chicago recruiting firm that specializes in engineering, manufacturing and technical sales recruitment and placement. Our client is a leading seller and servicer of Mid-Ranger Boilers and services that go along with them. They’re looking to bring in Boiler Sales Engineers for their Chicago area, St. Louis, San Antonio and Des Moines territories. The ideal candidate has a hunter mentality and a book of business to call upon right out of the gates. Someone who is familiar with selling to small businesses, hotels or manufacturers would fit the scale that my client is targeting.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell my client’s products and services in established sales territory
  • Proactively assisting customers with cost saving initiatives
  • Determine price schedules and discount rates
  • Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
  • Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase
  • Develop new customers and qualify them 

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree(BSME/EE a plus) preferred, though heavy experience within Boiler sales could suffice
  • Minimum of five years within the Boiler(non-residential) sales
  • Experience selling Boilers and their related products to the Chicago, St. Louis, San Antonio or Des Moines areas
