North Dakota shows tangible job growth.

North Dakota has witnessed job growth, relying on its stellar energy industry to join the top states in the U.S. for job creation. The state has seen employment increase by 4.4 percent this year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Aug. 18.

This has growth has translated into beneficial gains for the state. For example,the unemployment rate in North Dakota is only 2.8 percent as of July. By contrast, the national unemployment rate is 6.2 percent. 

"We needed to get our state economy going," said Governor Jack Dalrymple, according to Gallup. "We basically set about creating a state for more opportunities … energy, agriculture, technology, advanced manufacturing, tourism."

Furthermore, residents of North Dakota, according to Gallup, are happy with their state's economy, as least in comparison to residents of other states in the U.S. Gallup found that the residents of North Dakota are liable to state that the economic conditions in their state are good or excellent and that the state's economy is improving.

Manufacturing recruiters will find a vibrant economy in North Dakota, an excellent place to find helpful manufacturing employees.
